Kelsang Drime

My awareness of the Other Side began in September 1980, when I was 12 years old, during a Near-Death-Experience. Then, in May 1982, I experienced a very conscious Out-of-Body Experience.  At 14 years old, I became aware of my Guide and began my 'research'.  I was guided to Beyond the Mind by Sandra Gibson but lost the book before I could read it and therefore didn't realize it was about mediumship.  Despite beginning to 'recognize' people's loved ones in Spirit, I wanted to be 'normal'...
My Guide was persistent and in early 1989, I learned from Iris Belhayes, author of Spirit Guides, to channel my Guides and began practicing Reiki, a Japanese form of hands-on-healing.  But, still being stubborn and 'normal', I became an ordained Buddhist monk (Hence, my Tibetan Buddhist name, Kelsang Drime [pronounced Dree-May] which means Fortunate Stainless One) in September 1990 and Reiki Master in 1991.
So, as you can see, I've alternated between resistance to and acceptance of my Guide.  In 1996, William Buhlman, an Out-of-Body expert, published Adventures Beyond the Body.  Finally, in about 2000, I was given the 'Key', which led me to the Edgar Cayce Readings and a lot more.
My 'research' eventually led me to attend a Gallery Reading with medium Joshua-John in March 2013, during which my deceased father (DOD: April 08,2012) instructed me to study mediumship.  So I purchased the Martin Twycross Mediumship DVD's and 'Sitting in the Power' CD.  I subsequently attended a mediumship circle facilitated by Joanna Bartlett, a certified medium with the National Spiritualist Association of Churches.
In December 2016, I began studying with James Van Praagh's School of Mystical Arts, completing Mediumship Certification Level 1 on June 12, 2017.  I subsequently attended two Mediumship workshops with James Van Praagh and Lynn Probert from June 29th-July 7th, 2017 in Encinitas, CA.  I completed Mediumship Certification Level 2 on January 1, 2018.
I also completed the Introduction to Mediumship by Gordon Smith, an online course offered by Hay House, on May 22, 2017.
I also attended a 4-day workshop with Mavis Pittilla from October 5th-8th, 2017 in Seattle, WA.  Mavis is a wonderfully gifted medium and teacher who honors her teacher, Gordon Higginson, with every breath.

I feel it is important to study mediumship with other mediums.  More essential, however, is working with one's own Guides on the Other Side.  One simply cannot develop mediumship without this essential connection.  This is a lifetime commitment, involving 3 steps:
Establish a link with the Other Side by learning to meditate and 'Sit in the Power'.
Learn the telepathic language of the Other Side by developing one's 'clair's' and a dictionary of symbols with one's Guides.
Communicate the messages of the Other Side by learning the CERT method or similar method.
So, you now know a little bit about me and a little bit about mediumship.  If you are intrigued enough to learn more, you are welcome to take the next step and subscribe to The Other Side Blog...
